It depends on the use of your handiwork. If it is to be framed or used as a wall decoration,[A] you can get "washable" fabric glue, which means it is permanent. [B]cut a piece of heavy cardboard to match the size of the decorated canvas, [C]lay your beadwork face down on a clean, flat surface, [D]fold the edges of the surrounding, unused, canvas around the edges of the cardboard to the back [E]glue them to the cardboard so that your beaded design is held flat and supported by the cardboard and the edges of the cardboard lie just behind the edges of your beadwork to give it a smooth edge all around. [F]Then you can place paper over top and a heavy book or something flat and heavy that covers your work completely, and leave it to dry. [G]When dry you can trim off any paper that became glued to the back so it doesn't show from the front. [H]you can hang it like that or get it framed. [I]Enjoy your masterpiece!
